Utilizing various tools in serving Spirit through mediumship such as gazing at a crystal, a vessel of water or tea leaf reading is a personal choice, just not mine!

The tools most used are the spirit and mind of the Medium, together with an open minded person seeking to hear from their loved ones and the energy of those loved ones that have passed to the spirit side of life.

There are several descriptions of what is truly happening to enable connection with those in Spirit. An example is likening the vibrations to those of radio waves. " ~~ <>~^~~^~~>~^~" 

A turn of the dial (vibration focus) and we pick up the station (Spirit energy signal) to sense the information that Spirit wishes to communicate.

That information is shared via symbols and feelings, dependent on the receiver's (Medium's) mode* of reception.

Spirit people send waves of information through the senses. Sight, sound, thought & feeling, smell and taste, and by suggestion of physical mannerisms.

I receive information in each of these modes, though thankfully, not all at once. That would be a bit of sensory overload!
